THE 2023 ASF ASIAN SURFING CHAMPIONSHIPS - THULUSDHOO MALDIVES
PLOM has managed to send 2 national athletes to compete in the 2023 ASF Asian Surfing Championships in Thulusdhoo Maldives with sponsorships from DMM Sales & Daihatsu Malaysia (Main sponsor), Majlis Sukan Negara (Platinum Sponsor) and AirAsia- World's Best Low Cost Carrier as the airline sponsor. This was the 1st time Malaysia took part in the prestigious championship, along side 18 other countries in Asia. Although our national athletes didn't manage to bring home any trophy, they have surely gained valuable experience surfing world class waves, and learnt a lot during their time there.

PRESS CONFERENCE - MALAYSIA SURFING TEAM TO THE 2023 ASF ASC MALDIVES
A press conference was held at The Saujana Golf & Country Club to announce to the media on the Malaysia Surfing Team participation; Mohd Nazrin (Malaysia No 1 Men's Shortboard National Ranking) & Mohd Suhaimi (Malaysia No 2 Men's Shortboard National Ranking) at The 2023 ASF Asian Surfing Championships in Thulusdhoo Maldives. Among presence were the main sponsors; DMM Sales & Daihatsu Malaysia Team, Airline sponsor - Air Asia Marketing Team, The Saujana -venue sponsor, PLOM committee and media crew from Harian Metro, The Star, Cakap Sukan, Flash Sukan, Sportif & Bernama.

CHERATING SURF FESTIVAL 2.0 2023
Following the success of its 1st year, Cherating Surf Festival is back for the 2nd time, organized by Cherating Surf Club with Tourism Pahang as the main sponsor and it's the 2nd PLOM sanctioned event for the year 2023. Total of 140 surfers competed in Men’s & Women’s Open Shortboard, Men’s & Women’s Longboard, Grommet’s Shortboard & Bodyboard Open and the newly category- Rookie; which is for beginner surfers below 2 years of surfing experience.

TIOMAN SURFESTIVAL 2023
Tioman Surf Festival 2023, organized by Tioman Surf Club opened up as the 1st sanctioned comp by PLOM in 2023. After a week of postponement from the initial date due to the bad surf condition, the surfers competed in Men's & Women's Shortboard, Men's Longboard, Bodyboard & Grommet were able to enjoy better wave condition.

PENGERANG INTERNATIONAL SURFING FESTIVAL
Pengerang International Surfing Festival, organized by Johor Surfing Association with MPP Pengerang as the main sponsor was held on 15-18 December 2022 at Pantai Tiara Desaru Johor.
Total of 50 surfers competed in Men's & Women's Shortboard. Men's & Women's Longboard, Grommets & Bodyboard Category.
This contest was the 4th and the last sanctioned comp by PLOM for the year 2022

PHUKET BEACH FESTIVAL 2022
With the help from Ministry of Sports Malaysia, 6 top national ranking athletes were sent to compete in Phuket Beach Festival Surfing Competition organized by Thailand Surfing Federation and South East Asia Surfing Association, supported and sanctioned by ASC at Kata Beach, Phuket Thailand , They took part in Men’s & Women’s Shortboard Category & Men’s & Women’s Longboard Category. Our athletes performed well with Qadeja winning 1st runner up title for the Longboard Female Division.

LANGKAWI SURF FESTIVAL 2022
Langkawi Surf Festival, was the 1st time event organized by Langkawi Surf Community. PLOM guided LSC in the official application with Malaysia Sports Commissioner Office and technical & safety aspects during the event. Total of 56 surfers competed in Men & Women Shortboard's Division, Men & Women's Longboard Division and grommet's category. This was the 3rd PLOM sanctioned event whereby surfers could collect points for national ranking year 2022.

PLOM 2nd ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The 2nd PLOM AGM has been successfully completed thru Online Video Conference with attendance of representatives from Sabah Surfing Association, Johor Surfing Association, Persatuan Luncur Ombak Pahang, Persatuan Luncur Ombak Daerah Langkawi and Terengganu Surf Community.

CHERATING TENGGARA WIND CHALLENGE 2022
PLOM has supported the Cherating Tenggara Wind Challenge 2022, organized by Kam Surf in collaboration with Tourism Pahang and a number of sponsors and partners.
PLOM is proud to support the event, which includes SUP (Stand Up Paddle) as one of the competing categories. StandUp Paddle (SUP) is an accessible discipline of Surfing.

PLOM WEEKLY GIVEAWAY CONTEST
PLOM organized an instagram weekly contest for 9 weeks for their instagram followers. The contest participants had to repost, comment and tag 3 friends and 1 lucky winner was announced every week. Total 9 winners have won Rip Curl merchandize worth total of RM1,000.

LOGARHYTHM
PLOM supported Logarhtyhm which was an invitational event organized in Cherating by Iramalog & sponsored by Vans. A fun themed longboard comp in team format saw 10 group of 7 longboarders of mixed genders in a team competed in a 1 day event.

It's CSC's 1st ever event with a successful turnout whereby total of 140 surfers competed in Shortboard Men’s & Women’s Open, Shortboard Grommet’s, Longboard Men’s Open & Women’s Open and Bodyboard Open in the 2 days contest heats. This was the 2nd PLOM sanctioned event whereby surfers could collect points to get the best placement in the national ranking for year 2022

Wave Fever 2022, organized by Tioman Surf Club and sanctioned by PLOM. PLOM provided support in technical & competition aspects & official application with Malaysia Sports Commissioner Office. Many surfers competed in Shortboard Men’s & Women’s Open, Shortboard Grommet’s, Longboard Men’s Open and Bodyboard Open in the 2 days contest heats. This was the 1st PLOM sanctioned surf event for year 2022 whereby surfers could collect points upon competing to get the best placement in the national ranking for year 2022

TORO SURF ATTACK 2021
Toro Surf Attack 2021 was organized by West End Surfing Club at Pantai Karambunai, Sabah and was 1st ever surf contest sanctioned by PLOM. PLOM provided support in technical aspects & official application with Malaysia Sports Commissioner Office. This was a state-level contest opened for Sabahan surfers only with Men, Women, Masters & Grommet's category.

30th 2019 SEA GAMES PHILIPPINES
After approval by Sports Commisssioner's Office in August as the national surfing association of Malaysia, PLOM stepped in to help and manage 6 Malaysian surfers to represent the country in the surfing category. Mona Rasidah Abdul Rasid & Nur Alia Erika Mohd Azmi competed in Women's Shortboard, Didaqt Musadiq & Mohd Nazrin Nasruddin in Men's Shortboard and Semmy Hassan in Men's Longboard category.
